International John Bunyan Society conference comes to Keele

On 13 April 2018, Dr Rachel Adcock co-organised, with Professor Bob Owens (Bedfordshire) and Professor David Walker (Northumbria) a conference on behalf of the International John Bunyan Society, a group devoted to studying the work and infuence of the writer John Bunyan and his Protestant dissenting contemporaries. The conference, 'Remembrance and Re-Appropriation: Shaping Dissenting Identities', sought to explore the role of various practices of memorialisation and remembrance in shaping individual and communal dissenting identities.
