As the quote from Albert Einstein says “The only thing that you absolutely have to know is the location of the library”.
There's two libraries at Keele University - the Campus Library and the Health Library.
The Campus Library is numbered 11 on the campus map and is located near to the Claus Mouser building and the Chapel, just a short walk from the Union Square. The Library is entered on the middle floor via an external staircase and there is a ground floor entrance for people with mobility issues. Access to the Library is via swipe card so please always bring your Keele card with you.
The Health Library, a joint NHS/HE library within Staffordshire supporting healthcare staff and Keele students, is located on the ground floor of the Clinical Education Centre at the Royal Stoke University Hospital. The Health Library has a range of facilities to support your studies and work. Access to the Health Library during the evening (after 5:30pm) and at the weekends is via swipe card so please always bring your Keele card or NHS Library card with you.
The Health Library is usually open from 8:30am to 8:00pm Monday to Friday and 10am to 4:00pm Saturday. There is also self-service use on Sunday between 10am to 4:00pm, however this is a trial basis only. Please check the Health Library's opening times for any short-notice notifications of changes to opening times.
The Library Education Centre is located on the middle floor of the Campus Library building, off the IT Suite near to IT Labs 1-3. Please see the Library floor plan.
The Library Education Centre brings together four specialist teams - Liaison Librarians, Academic Skills Tutors, Health Information and Training Librarians, and Research Support Librarians - to provide tailored expertise and guidance across all areas of academic study and research.
The Library is entered on the middle floor via an external staircase. If you have mobility issues please use the ground floor entrance. We have swipe card access at the Campus Library so please always bring your Keele card with you. If you have lost your card, you need to order a new one.
