Our Global Vision
At Keele, we believe that within our global society internationalisation has to permeate all aspects of the University’s activities from teaching & learning, to research, knowledge transfer and the way we organise our activities.
1. Our Students
Our students come from over 120 different countries.
All incoming overseas students have the opportunity to be mentored by a current Keele student to help them settle into life on campus.

2. Student Mobility
- We have partnerships with over 70 different overseas universities
- All programmes (except Medicine, Nursing & Pharmacy) have the option for single semester exchange and/or the International Year. Medicine & Nursing have international placement modules.
- Keele students have the opportunity to go on an exchange to one of 40 different countries across Europe, North America, Asia, Africa or Australia
There are 17 different scholarship schemes for International students, including eight funded by external bodies such as the Commonwealth Scholarship Commission, Santander Universities and Chevening.

At Keele we value our community of international staff and pride ourselves on our friendly and supportive community that has a genuine sense of inclusiveness. The work we do does not recognise national boundaries.
9% of our academic and administrative staff are from outside of the UK.
We have more than 100,000 alumni living in over 100 countries.
Our 'Keele in the World' networks provide the opportunity for alumni to engage with one another and with the University. We have 11 networks which cover places such as the USA, Brunei, Turkey and many more.
Notable alumni with International links include:

Keele is ranked in the top 2% for most international universities in the world 2016 (Times Higher Education, 2016)
Students at Keele can elect to study additional language modules. There are also opportunities to go on short programmes to support their language learning. Language modules available include: Arabic, Mandarin Chinese, German, French, Italian, Japanese, Russian and Spanish
