On the left of the path you can see our native pine - the Scots Pine. It can be recognised by it reddish-orange bark and by its bluey-grey needles that grow in pairs.
The only remaining natural Scots Pine woodland is to be found in Scotland.
To the left of that is a Dawn Redwood.
