Cite Them Right logo

Sign-in to Cite Them Right - Click Login, select “Keele University” from the institution list and log in with your Keele username and password.

Cite Them Right is an ideal tool to help you construct references for standard resource types, such as: books, ebooks, journals, and journal articles, but also for less common resource types, such as: UK statutes, patents and social networking sites (Instagram, Facebook, etc.)
You can practise formatting your references in Harvard, APA, Chicago, OSCOLA, Vancouver and other common styles.
You can also work through tutorials based on your preferred referencing format, helping you to understand why referencing is so important; how to avoid plagiarism; and how to inset citations into your text. It's an ideal resource to help students navigate and reference resources in the modern world.

Our interactive online module, Manage your references... in a Nutshell, introduces you to tools you can use to manage your references and our Creating references using Cite Them Right... in a Nutshell video shows you how you can use the online resource, Cite Them Right, to help you to reference properly in your assignments or research.
