Out of hours support
If there’s ever something urgent that you need help with immediately, there are ways to get support during the night and over the weekend.
Security and Out of Hours Support Officers
Our Security team are available 24 hours a day, every day of the year, and they are here for everyone on campus. During term-time, we also have a student support officer working throughout the night to help in times of crisis.
Located: Darwin building
Phone: +44(0)1782 733004 (or 888 in an emergency)
Email: firstname.lastname@example.org (non-urgent enquiries)
In an event which requires the emergency services, please also phone 999. Find out more about Security at Keele.
Have you got the app yet? It’s really simple to operate: in just one tap, you can alert campus security if you're ever in an emergency, need first aid, or some other sort of help.
Hopefully you won't ever need to use it but, if you do, help will only be a tap away. It's there for all staff and students to use - just search 'SafeZone' in your app store (iOS and Android) and download it for free. Find out more about SafeZone.
If you live in halls, we have a team of students who can provide info and support, even during the night.
Find out more about the Resident Advisers in your halls.
Please contact them via the Security hotline above.
Sexual violence support
If you or someone you know has been a victim of sexual violence, you can report this 24 hours a day, every day of the year.
If you or someone else is in danger, call: 888 from an internal phone / 01782 733004 for on-campus security or 999 for the emergency services
You can also use our dedicated email address for reporting sexual violence. This email address inbox access is restricted to a very small number of specially-trained staff: email@example.com
For more general, non-urgent queries, you can also contact us on: firstname.lastname@example.org
