Biography
Priya is an MPhil student and part‑time Research Technician in the Galizi Lab, as well as an Entomologist at the Anti Malaria Campaign, Sri Lanka. Since June 2026, she has supported mosquito husbandry and the validation of genetically modified mosquito strains alongside completion of her MPhil research, which focuses on uncovering the biological role of Dicer‑1 in Anopheles gambiae using novel genetic modification tools. Outside the lab and insectary, she enjoys spending time in nature, trying new recipes, and being with her family.
