Biography
Lois joined Keele University in 2021 as an undergraduate student studying Biomedical Science. In January 2026, she became a placement student in the Galizi Lab, where she shadowed researchers exploring innovative approaches to control vector-borne diseases. Following her placement, Lois began working as a Research Technician in April 2026, supporting ongoing projects focused on genetic strategies to reduce malaria transmission by mosquito vectors. Outside the laboratory, Lois enjoys dancing, playing board games, and spending time with friends and family.
