Biography

I joined Keele Law School as a Lecturer in February 2022. I have an LLB (Hons) and an MA in Human Rights, Globalisation and Justice. I was awarded my PhD from Keele University, with my thesis focusing on the constructions of professional legal identity and barriers to success. My wider research interests include the legal profession, gender and religion.

I am currently the Programme Director for the LLB (Accelerated) Course, and the Deputy Director of Undergraduate Law Programmes.

I hold a PGCert in Higher Education Practice, and I am a Fellow of the Higher Education Teaching Academy.

Supervision

I supervise both UG and PG dissertations around areas of the Legal Profession and the Law of Obligations. I am currently co-supervising two doctoral candidates.
