Our Civic Partners
Keele Innovation District is being developed through a strong partnership between Keele University, local authorities and wider public-sector stakeholders, reflecting a shared commitment to driving long-term economic transformation across Staffordshire and Stoke-on-Trent.
The programme will be founded on collaboration, collective leadership and aligned investment, recognising that the scale of ambition requires coordinated action across planning, infrastructure, transport, skills, business support and regeneration.
Partners are working together to position Keele Innovation District as a flagship opportunity for the region and to ensure it aligns with emerging local government structures and future regional growth priorities.
Formal partnership and governance arrangements will continue to evolve during Summer 2026, including the establishment of long-term collaborative structures to guide delivery and oversee future activity.
This work will help create a clear framework for decision-making, programme coordination and stakeholder engagement as the Innovation District moves from vision towards implementation.
