The recent Research Excellence Framework (REF2021) confirmed Keele's position as a leading university for research of world-class quality and international excellence. 80% of the research conducted at Keele was classified as world-leading or internationally excellent with top-rated research in all three faculties.
Vision: To be an international, interdisciplinary, and innovative research and engagement beacon delivering positive change across health (regional, national, and global) and social care challenges.
Goals: To achieve an integrated culture of research and engagement achievement across our Faculty Schools and Institute of Global Health. To provide stability, direction, and support in engendering research and impact cultures across our community of stakeholders.
Aims: Be a recognised vehicle of research and impact excellence; a facilitative international partner of choice for academic and commercial research collaboration; provide an inclusive research-promoting environment; develop an enabling culture for interdisciplinarity.

We have active collaborations and training programmes with universities throughout the UK, Europe, USA and other countries worldwide. We also bring together researchers from Keele University campus and partner hospitals in North Staffordshire, Shropshire and Cheshire.
