Guaranteed accommodation

As a campus university, Keele has over 2,600 bedrooms on site, with a range of accommodation offers available and all within a short walk of the centre of campus, to suit your budget.

We offer guaranteed accommodation on campus for September entry undergraduate and postgraduate applicants who make Keele their firm choice, and who apply for accommodation by the deadline date 30 June.

We also guarantee on-campus accommodation for all September entry international students who apply by 30 June, with the option to live on campus for the duration of your course.

We are also able to offer guaranteed accommodation on campus for January 2026 new entrants, who make Keele their firm choice and who apply for the accommodation by Friday 5 December 2025. Please note, our adapted rooms are fully occupied and we are therefore unable to offer any adapted accommodation for the January 2026 intake. If you require an adapted room, please email our Student Accommodation team who will be happy to support you in finding suitable off campus accommodation.

September entry

We will guarantee to offer you a room on campus for your first year if:

your course starts in September
you firmly accept your offer of a place on a course at Keele
you apply to us for accommodation by midnight on 30 June.  Applications open in February

January 2026 entry

We will guarantee to offer you a room on campus* for your first year if:

your course starts in January 2026
you firmly accept your offer of a place on a course at Keele
you apply to us for accommodation by midnight on  5 December

*Please note, our adapted rooms are fully occupied and we are therefore unable to offer any adapted accommodation for the January 2026 intake. If you require an adapted room, please email our Student Accommodation team who will be happy to support you in finding suitable off campus accommodation.

We guarantee accommodation for the duration of your course providing you submit your returners' application by the returning students deadline date. This will need to happen every year of study.

January 2026 entry

We will guarantee to offer you a room on campus* for your first year if:

your course starts in January 2026
you firmly accept your offer of a place on a course at Keele
you apply to us for accommodation by midnight on  5 December

We can only offer rooms to you as an individual single person applicant.

When you apply for accommodation, you will submit your preferred room types, letting periods and halls of residence. Based on availability, we will then do our best to match these preferences, but we cannot guarantee to offer you your preferred room types, letting periods or halls of residence.
