Sustainable Development Goals Awareness Month
Keele is proud to be a sustainability leader, so this month we’re raising awareness of the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDG) by holding events to show how the University is working towards these goals – and how you can too!
From International Women’s Day celebrations and plant-based meal promotions, to culturally enriching Keele Concerts and sporting activities, together we can reflect on the world we want and how Keele can be part of that change.

Mindful Moments/ |
Take part in simple drop-in craft activities such as rock painting, learn about the Sustainable Development Goals via two ‘SDG Trees’ in the main Chapel, or complete mindful colouring sheets for reflection and relaxation. There will also be the opportunity to colour and hang a token in support of the goals. A £1 charitable donation will be made for every token hung from the SDG trees. |

Heartlands: Earth & Bones Film Screening and Q&A |
Combining film, solo, poem and music, Heartlands: Earth & Bones is a powerful example of how art can contribute to sustainable development by addressing social, cultural and environmental issues. As a collaborative effort involving artists, researchers, and the community, it also demonstrates the power of partnerships in achieving sustainable development. The short film will be screened in the Westminster Theatre (Chancellor’s Building). |
