This module will develop your understanding of the fundamental mathematical techniques and methods used across Science-related programmes.
You will achieve this by developing a knowledge of the most commonly used mathematical techniques in applied sciences. You will assess your understanding and skill in use of these techniques by applying them to set problems.
While this will be self-taught through detailed and structured resources, you will also have access to in-person support throughout the module.
Successful completion of the module will mean that you acquire the skills to apply mathematical techniques to help solve science-based problems. This module equips you with some of the necessary mathematical skills to support your on-going study in a science-related degree programme.
