FYO-00221 - Foundations of Computational Theory and Programming (30 credits)
Foundations of Computational Theory and Programming (30 credits)
This module equips students with the necessary foundational computational skills to support their Foundation Year studies and prepare them for study in either Single or Combined Honours in Computer Science.
In particular, it will introduce them to aspects of computational theory, such as base numbers, Boolean logic, hardware and computational intelligence. The module also provides a basis for future work programming, equipping students with a knowledge of the programming language used through the remainder of their Foundation Year studies.
