Foundations in Physics introduces the mathematical and problem solving skills needed to study physics at level 3. It uses fundamental topics in mechanics to improve your confidence in dealing with unfamiliar concepts, understanding physical theory and applying skills to solve problems. It equips you with the underpinning skills you need to study any topic in physics. You will learn how to plan, carry out and analyse practical activities, keep laboratory records and write formal experimental reports.
