Foundations of Chemistry for Health (15 credits)
This module provides foundation chemistry knowledge that is required to progress onto the first year of study within health-based subjects. The module introduces a breadth of key concepts that will provide basic chemical understanding that can then be applied and built on within the student’s main discipline. This module will be taught using a range of learning activities with emphasis on high standards of communication, information literacy, problem solving and numeracy.
