Foundations in Health and Society (15 credits)
The Foundations in Health and Society module has been designed to enhance student knowledge of the structures involved in the provision of health and social care services and to provide an introduction to the psychological and sociological approaches needed to promote the changes required to support a ‘healthy’ population. In this module, students will work in inter-professional groups to research current health issues and present their critique of existing campaigns used to raise awareness of this issue.
