Advancing Chemistry for Health (15 credits)
This module will provide you with advancing chemistry knowledge. It builds upon the content delivered in the Foundations of Chemistry for Health module and what is required to progress onto the first year of study within health-science based subjects. You will be introduced to a breadth of key concepts that will provide a basic chemical understanding of topics, such as organic mechanisms, analytical techniques and reaction kinetics. This module will be taught using a range of learning activities and assessments, with emphasis on high standards of professionalism, written communication, information literacy, problem solving and numeracy.
