Libby Reads 2026
2026 is the National Year of Reading and to celebrate, we are participating in Libby Reads!
Libby Reads is a global ebook club, which is completely free, and readers in participating UK libraries can enjoy the same featured books at the same time, with no wait lists and no holds, either as an ebook or audiobook from 29th October to 12th November 2026.
The choices for Libby Reads are 'Boleyn Traitor' By Philippa Gregory and 'The Fox Hunt' by Caitlin Breeze.
'Boleyn Traitor' focuses on Jane Boleyn and the dazzling, dangerous Tudor court, and how nothing is more powerful or deadly than a secret. Whilst 'The Fox Hunt' dives into the dark underbelly of England's most ancient university, where behind closed doors a circle of privileged students enter into a dark pagan ritual.
To take part in Libby Reads, just download the Libby app (if you haven't already got it) or go to the Libby website, borrow your choice of either title (or both titles if you fancy it), and start reading on your phone, tablet or computer. For access in the Libby app, follow the prompts to add a new library and search for 'Keele University', and sign in with your Keele email address and password.
Feeling inspired as part of the National Year of Reading? Check out our staff favourites on our Library News, which is now a discoverable collection on Library Search, and visit Libby to explore a wide range of ebooks and audiobooks, including staff favourites and new discoveries.
Wherever and whenever you’re reading, Libby makes it easy to celebrate the joy of reading all year long, so check out Libby Reads and make 2026 a year of reading!
