New Acland's Video Atlas of Human Anatomy UI
Acland’s Video Atlas of Human Anatomy has moved to a new platform and updated their user interface as part of their commitment to provide an improved user experience with more comprehensive and updated content coverage!
As part of the content and functionality updates, some of the video segments have been refreshed and updated with new movement and surface anatomy videos. There’s also new short quizzes, along side full-length customised quizzing, that enables users to quickly review specific content areas, as well as a new key terms resource which includes definitions and audio-pronunciations for quick referencing and studying.
Updated anatomical terminology reflects updates that have been made in the field, plus a new English-Latin option has been introduced for the first time, where users can select the option to apply Latin terms for all anatomical terminology for the on-screen labels in the videos, key terms, and practice questions.
Additionally, the new user interface offers a cleaner and more streamlined interface with a more modern and fresh look, that offers easier navigation to users.
For access, if you are not automatically logged in, please select ‘access through your institution’, and search for ‘Keele University’ in ‘find my institution’ and login with your Keele username and password. Acland’s Video of Human Anatomy is also available on the library’s A-Z of online resources and there’s a handy tips and tricks page to help you get started with the new interface too!
