New Library Education Centre
Introducing the new Library Education Centre!
The Library Education Centre brings together four specialist teams, including Liaison Librarians, Academic Skills Tutors, Health Information and Training Librarians and Research Support Librarians, to provide tailored expertise and guidance across all areas of academic study and research.
The Centre offers lots of ways to develop your academic study and research, including Skills Seminars, to enhance your academic and research competencies, Study Guides and Subject Resources, on a range of key skills necessary for university study and research, and One-to-One Appointments, which are personalised sessions providing focused advice on your specific needs.
There is also the Study Matters Podcast, which is designed to help you develop a wide range of academic skills to succeed in your studies, and covers a wide range of topics from managing time and workload at university to choosing a dissertation topic that matters.
Additionally, the Skills Seminars programme for the new semester has been published, with both in-person and online seminars covering topics from preparing for study, planning assignments, producing assignments, and dissertations and final-year projects, and you can find out more about the seminars and sign-up to the sessions by visiting the Skills Seminars page.
The Library Education Centre is also available on the library’s A-Z of your Library, along with other useful links. So, check out the new Library Education Centre!
