Special Collections Spotlight: Local Collection
Introducing the Local Collection from our Special Collections and Archives!
The Local Collection is a collection of over 5,000 books, plus pamphlets, newspapers, journals and directories, all devoted to the history of the region - spanning Staffordshire, Cheshire, Derbyshire and Shropshire.
You can search the Local Collection on our library catalogue and Keele registered users are able to loan most items too.
The Local Collection includes the North Staffordshire Journal of Field Studies, the Pottery Gazette, and the transcriptions of parish registers published by the Staffordshire Parish Registers Society.
You can request titles via your Library account, pop in to browse the shelves, or book an appointment if you would like staff assistance. Contact us at Special Collections.
