Biography
Alison Long is Deputy Head of the Language and International Culture Centre, and Disability Inclusion Tutor.
Her research interests are language change (specifically in the Slavonic languages), endangered languages and language policy, and language construction. She created the Illitan language for the BBC's adaptation of China Mieville's The City and The City.
