Biography

Prior joining to Keele Business School, Dr Geetika Jain was a Senior Researcher at the IT University of Copenhagen's Department of Business IT. Geetika has gained corporate experience at GE (General Electric), US in the capacity of Strategic Consultant.

A passionate researcher with over 13 years of experience in sustainable innovation and digitization, with an in-depth knowledge of adoption of new technology and its diffusion. Her research examines sustainable innovation, blockchain governance, application of blockchain technology, to be precise in context to sustainable digitization and innovation using blockchain technology.

She has a proven record of publication with ABDC- A, B and Scopus listed journals and an active reviewer of ABDC, ABS, and WoS listed journals. Her work has been published in various UK top-rated journals like Journal of Business Research, Journal of Cleaner Production, Journal of enterprise information management.

She has also received awards for ‘Outstanding paper, 2019’, ‘Best reviewer, 2019’ as Emerald Literati Award, 2019 and ‘Best research scholar, 2018’ from International Institute of Organized Research, AUSTRALIA.

Teaching

I have experience in teaching in my core domain of digitalization and innovation and Executive education. I have taught blockchain economics, service economics, digital transformation and innovation. I have supervised UG and PG dissertations in the area of blockchain governance and digitalization. I have taken workshops in different universities on blockchain governance and innovative models through focusing interdisciplinary research.

Geetika is an active member of the Association of Information System (AIS) and Association of North America Higher Education International (ANAHEI), State of Florida, United States. She is associated with various top journals as an Ad-hoc reviewer like MIS Quarterly, Journal of Business Research, Technology Forecasting and Social Change, Journal of Enterprise Information Management etc. She has also received copyright from Ministry of Commerce and Industry (Copyright Office, Government of India) for “Confluence of storytelling and technology in business,” having registration number - L-86701/2019
