Pharmacy and Bioengineering

The  Central Sciences Laboratories bring new laboratory and analytical facilities to the pharmacy undergraduate courses. Lab classes that measure, analyse and characterise pharmaceutical excipients and actives benefit from new analytical instrumentation such as NMR, FT-IR, UV/vis and HPLC. The creation and testing of solutions, creams, and tablet formulations use new equipment such as; homogenisers, dissolution baths, and disintegration baths.
