Clearing entry requirements

Please find our entry requirements below. If you can't find the answer to your query then please contact the Admissions team on 01782 491120 or email clearing@keele.ac.uk

We are interested in a broad range of qualities, not just your points on entry. We would very much like to learn more about you, your interests, experience and motivation to study.

Whilst we may not be able to offer you your first choice we can talk to you about other options and maybe introduce you to some courses you haven't considered before, so if you have at least 72-96 UCAS tariff points from at least two A Levels or equivalent please contact us. Please note some of our courses have subject specific requirements, therefore see table below.

If you do not meet our entry requirements for our undergraduate degrees, you may be interested in one of our foundation year programmes. Entry requirements for our foundation years start from 40 UCAS Tariff points. However, we will also consider applicants who may not have traditional academic qualifications but have work experience or vocational qualifications. Whether you have just received your results or wish to return to study call us on 01782 491120 to discuss the foundation year options available to you.

For all our Health courses including the Health Foundation Years please see the table below.

As well as the minimum 72-88 UCAS tariff point requirement from at least 2 A Levels or equivalent, some of our course have specific subject related entry requirements. An overview of these is shown below, if they are not listed then they don’t have any specific requirements.

We will consider International Baccalaureate, BTEC and Access to HE applicants for places on our courses that have vacancies from early July. If you are holding A level qualifications or any other qualifications, please contact us to discuss your grades and preferred course.

If you are seeking information on the offer level for a combined honours course you should look at the offer levels for BOTH subjects: if one subject has a higher offer level this is the one which will apply. Any subject specific requirements for BOTH courses will apply.

We always look for talented students who can demonstrate they could benefit from the distinctive Keele experience.
