Woodland Nature Trail

Stop M

Point-M

Lake 3 is a lovely spot. It is covered with our native Yellow Water-lily Nuphar lutea in the summer and the surface can be alive with damselflies and dragonflies. There are also a lot of fish which can be seen swimming just below the surface on sunny days.

The remains of a small "jetty" sometimes hosts a Grey Wagtail while Kingfishers occasionally pass through.
