Adapted and Accessible rooms
We will make every effort to meet the requirements of students who have special accommodation needs. We have a range of accommodation to suit students with disabilities and health issues.
Our Adapted and Accessible rooms are located in Barnes W-Z blocks, Holly Cross, The Oaks and Horwood K-M blocks. Deaf alerters are available in Holly Cross, The Oaks B block, Barnes X block and Horwood K-M blocks. These rooms include a bedroom with a single bed in Horwood K-M blocks and a ¾ bed or double bed in Ensuite rooms. We have adapted bathroom facilities in our Ensuite rooms or Shared bathroom facilities (sharing with 11 in Horwood K-M blocks). The kitchen facilities are shared between 4-9 students in Ensuite rooms and shared with 11 in Horwood K-M blocks.
It is important that you notify Disability Support and Inclusion of any requirements you have before you apply for accommodation at Keele, so that your needs can be discussed and any necessary adjustments made. Staff in Disability Support and Inclusion can recommend a range of options from guaranteed accommodation for the duration of your course (you must submit an application each year, by the given deadline), to the need for one of the room types below.

Holly Cross
- 3 Wheelchair accessible rooms. These rooms have various combinations of adaptations including:

- 1 room has the facility for a hoist
