SDG photography competition

Do you have a camera or smartphone? Would you like the chance to win a £50 or £25 voucher? Then we have the competition for you!
The SDG Photography Competition is open to all Keele students and aims to create a repository of photos that show what the Sustainable Development Goals mean to students at Keele. All you need to do is take a photograph (or find one squirrelled away on a memory card), choose the SDG that is represented in your photo, and submit it with a brief explanation of why your photo represents that particular goal.
The UN launched the Sustainable Development Goals in 2016 to be achieved by 2030. From 19-23 February, the NUS is holding a national campaign called the SDG Teach-in, which aims to promote the Sustainable Development Goals and how they link to teaching and the curriculum. The goals cover issues ranging from poverty and hunger to equality, economic growth, health and well-being, and justice. To promote the SDGs at Keele, and how they link to your own degree programme, we'll be hosting an exhibition in Chancellor's where you'll be able to explore the goals through interactive exhibits. We'll also be unveiling the winning photos and displaying the photos that have been chosen to represent each goal.
If you'd like to enter the competition, upload your photo before Sunday 11th February. We're also giving away vouchers to the overall winning photograph and two runners up. To be in with a chance of winning £50 or one of two £25 vouchers, get your camera handy and submit your photo.
Not sure what the subject of your photo could/should be? Find out more about the Sustainable Development Goals here.
