‘Older Women Rock the Potteries!’ is a ground-breaking project created and run by Leah Thorn, a spoken word poet who is bringing older women together to produce new voices of ageing.
The Ageing of British Gerontology exhibition is currently on display in Keele University Art Gallery, Chancellor’s Building, alongside Leah Thorn’s ‘Older Women Rock the Potteries!’ exhibition.
The 4th Live Age Festival held on 29th September at the New Vic Theatre and 1st October at Potteries Museum & Art Gallery was a tremendous success, with overwhelmingly positive feedback.
