Everyone has their favourite place on campus. Whether that is one of our relaxing green spaces to unwind and relax, or one of our many study spots on campus where you can focus between your lectures. In this blog, Margo shares her top 3 spots on campus.
"There are several places on campus where I enjoy spending my time, and each of them suits different needs. The first place is the area near the sports centre. It is usually very quiet, which makes it perfect for relaxing outdoors. There are benches and tables where you can sit with friends, especially when the weather is nice and sunny. A light breeze often makes the atmosphere even more pleasant, and overall, I consider it one of the best spots on campus.
The second place is the library. For me, this is where I can concentrate the most. What I particularly like is the balance between silence and a small amount of background noise. This creates a comfortable environment that helps me stay focused, especially when I am studying for exams or working on assignments. The library is also a good place for group work, which makes it very practical.
The third place is the cafeteria, especially in the Chancellors Building. Between lectures, I usually do not feel like going far to find food, so this is a very convenient option. I can quickly get something to eat or drink and stay within a comfortable space. Since everything is close by, it is easy for me to organise my time and manage my day efficiently while staying on campus."
