Bursaries and scholarships for international students

The following scholarships may be targeted at specific countries, subjects and talent areas. In some cases you may be required to make an independent application, for others the scholarship will be awarded automatically.

The awards for 2019 entry have yet to be finalised. When they are this webpage will be updated, but in the meantime, please refer to 2018 entry information below to see what is typical.

2018 Entry

£3000 for self-funded international fee paying students applying for a taught master's programme

15% tuition fee discount

£500 for all new self-funded international fee-paying students

Funding for asylum seekers and forced migrants

Full tuition fees and living expenses (external award)

Tuition fees, living allowance, an economy class return airfare to the UK, additional grants to cover essential expenditure (external award)

Living costs, tuition and bench fees for up to 3 years of PhD study (external award)

Information about North American Bursary, Keele in the USA and Marshall Scholarships (external award)

£5000 for students from South America applying for a taught master’s
