Deposit for undergraduate tuition fees

Please ensure you are aware of the required next steps. We anticipate that places will fill before our published deadlines and we reserve the right to close our September intake as a result. We therefore encourage you to pay your deposit as soon as you are able to.
Self-Funding Students
The standard overseas tuition fee deposit is £4,000. For applicants who are nationals of Pakistan, the required deposit is £8,000. This payment (or evidence of approved financial sponsorship) must be provided after you have received and accepted your offer. Tuition fee deposits are refundable under specific circumstances.
You will not be sent a Visa Checklist required to request a CAS statement for a student visa to study in the UK until this payment is received.

Deposit deadlines
The latest date for your deposit payment to reach us is:
Undergraduate: 23 August 2026 for applicants from Pakistan, Kenya, Nigeria, India and Ghana, and 29 August 2026 for all other countries.

Refunds
Tuition fee deposit refunds on Degree programmes (excluding Pre-Sessional English courses) are considered in the following circumstances:
- You decline your place at and cancel your offer from the University before a CAS (Confirmation of Acceptance for Studies) is issued. Or;
- The University has confirmed a CAS (Confirmation of Acceptance for Study) will not be issued to you. Or;
- You are refused a Student Visa by the UKVI (UK Home Office).
Once you are an enrolled student or a study visa granted by the UK Home Office including other suitable UK Immigration permission to study, refunds are on a pro-rata basis.
All refunds are subject to approval and money laundering checks. No refunds will be considered in cases of fraud.
