The art of performing
I think that there is a gap in the HE market for performing arts degrees.
The Idea
From a business perspective, I think that there is a gap in the HE market for performing arts degrees. We have a local performing arts college (Jill Clewes). I believe that there is little local provision as a next step. Partnerships could be formed with local theatres etc. not my background but have observed this as an issue in my personal life
Why This Idea Should Be Considered
I wonder if this could bring money into the university and harness local talent. Not sure if it fits with Keele's suite of programmes but may be worth exploring if the budget allows
How We Would Implement This Idea
Maybe colleagues with a background in sport and fitness could scope this and potentially create a business plan?
What Success Would Look Like
An initial cohort of 40 students, achieving, performing and representing Keele
