Snow updates
During periods of winter weather, the University operates a salting and snow-clearing programme to help maintain safe access across campus. In addition to the work carried out by the Grounds Team, rock salt bins are available at key locations for use by staff, students and visitors. These are positioned in areas such as known frost pockets, steps to buildings and steep gradients.
While every effort is made to keep roads, pathways and entrances accessible, weather conditions can change quickly. Please take extra care when travelling around campus and allow additional time for your journey during adverse weather.
