Entomology and parasitology research at Keele focuses on understanding the interactions between parasites, hosts, vectors and animal and plant systems, with applications in infectious disease, biodiversity, agriculture and environmental sustainability.
Research spans molecular and cellular studies, vector biology and ecology, and plant–microbe interactions, alongside the development of novel interventions including drug discovery, diagnostics, crop protection strategies, vector control approaches and community education programmes.
