Biography
Sarah Scutt (she/her). A little bit about me...I am a BACP registered Person-Centred counsellor/ psychotherapist. I work in private practice and lecture on the MSc in Counselling and Psychotherapy programme. My life's work is to walk alongside people and facilitate the process of reconnection to their authentic selves- to heal, explore new ways of being, and find purpose and meaning in their lives.
Before entering the counselling profession, I initially studied languages and engaged in various roles centred on helping people thrive. From a young age, I dedicated my life to serving others and became passionate about creating spaces of safety and belonging. Through my work in language teaching, addiction support, social care, charity work, community leadership and motherhood, I have been committed to honouring and affirming each person's worth, voice and unique lived experience.
