Frances Ives

Biography

I am a Knowledge Mobilisation Fellow within the Impact Accelerator Unit, supporting the translation of research evidence into policy and practice. Working collaboratively with researchers, healthcare professionals, patients and public contributors, I help develop partnerships and knowledge exchange activities that maximise the impact of health research.

My background is in human factors and ergonomics, which provides a unique perspective on how evidence is implemented within complex healthcare systems. I am particularly interested in understanding the organisational, behavioural, and contextual factors that influence change, and in supporting approaches that make research evidence accessible, usable, and relevant to those who need it.
