Biography

Fay joined Keele in 2019 and is working as an Honorary Lecturer in Bone Health. Prior to this Fay gained her PhD in Biomedical Physics at the University of Exeter.
Fay has a combined role, also working as a Senior Research Assistant at the Midlands Partnership Foundation Trust and a Bone Density Technician at The Haywood Metabolic Bone Centre.

Research and scholarship

Fay works primarily within Rheumatological research with a particular interest in osteoporosis and bone health. Fay has transitioned from a basic science PhD focussing on Vertebral Endplates, to applied health research.

Fay has been awarded an NIHR CRN West Midlands Clinical Research Scholar Award (2020).
