Biography

Carolyn is a lecturer in social work and registered social worker. Carolyn has worked in higher education for four years after working in social work (specifically safeguarding and fostering) and support work prior to qualifying as a social worker. Carolyn's specialist areas of interest are in children and families social work, childhood bereavement, lifespan and human development, and practice education. Carolyn maintains links to practice through working part-time as a practice educator. In addition, Carolyn is the Independent Panel Chairperson for a therapeutic fostering service.
