Biography
Dr Bruno Mazuquin is a Visiting Research Fellow at Keele University.
His work explores new approaches to musculoskeletal rehabilitation, with a particular focus on shoulder conditions. In 2024, he was awarded an NIHR Development and Skills Enhancement Award in Knowledge Mobilisation and Implementation Science to investigate how the transition between research and clinical practice can be more efficient by working with partners and collaborators, and how to translate research findings into meaningful impact.
Bruno has extensive experience with large NIHR-funded trials such as the PROSPER study (shoulder rehabilitation following breast cancer), and RaCeR 2, the largest trial in the world investigating rehabilitation after shoulder surgery.
