Doing Scientific Investigations and Writing

Bad science can lead to people making bad decisions. Knowing what bad science looks like enables us to check what we believe to ensure that we have good justifications for our beliefs. And what is more, it also enables us to avoid the same issues, improving the chances that people will find our results convincing and compelling.

Join the Academic Skills Team for a session discussing bad science, so you can find out what the replicability crisis is, how it impacts on what good science is today, and why it’s important to think deeply about the journal articles you read.
