Writing Excellent Paragraphs 25 November

Writing Excellent Paragraphs

If you google ‘how to write good paragraphs’ you’ll find many results talking about things like PEE (Point, Evidence, Explanation) paragraphs, PEAL (Point, Evidence, Analysis, Link) paragraphs, and other similar paragraph structures. Following these structures are as likely to make your writing worse than they are to improve it. We can show you a better way.

Join the Academic Skills team for a seminar that discusses how to write clear, coherent and pristine prose to impress your markers. By attending, you will learn why the psychology of reading is vital to good writing, how to build coherence and sense across a piece of work, and what everyone else gets wrong about paragraphs.
