Evaluating the reliability of your search results

This seminar will focus on strategies for evaluating the reliability and quality of information found through academic searches. Participants will learn how to assess sources using key criteria such as authority, accuracy, relevance, and currency, and how to recognise potential bias or misinformation. The session will introduce practical frameworks and critical thinking approaches to help students make informed decisions about which sources to trust and use in their work.
