Editing and Proofreading 3 December

Editing and Proofreading

Editing is the most important part of writing. Proofreading isn’t a bad idea either. Together, they can improve and refine a piece of work into something truly impressive—but what should we look out for when we edit and proofread? How is it best to tackle them?

Join the Academic Skills team for a seminar exploring the things you can do to polish your work and make it the best it possibly can be. By attending, you’ll learn why editing is a crucial part of writing, how to revise a piece to make it clearer for your reader, and what you can do to make proofreading less boring.
