Biography

Eiman is a Lecturer in Accounting at Keele Business School, where she was first appointed as a Teaching Fellow in 2020. Before her time at Keele, she worked as an Adjunct Lecturer at the University of Southampton. Eiman has also served as a part-time Lecturer in Accounting at the High Institute for Computer and Management Information Systems in Alexandria and as a Senior Teaching Assistant in Accounting at Alexandria University. In addition to her academic roles, she has experience in the banking sector, having worked at Citibank NA in Alexandria, Egypt.

Eiman is currently pursuing her PhD in Accounting on a part-time basis at Keele University. She holds an MSc (Econ.) in Accounting and Finance from the University of Aberdeen (2013) and a BSc in Accounting with First Class Honours from Alexandria University (2002). 

Eiman is also a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy (FHEA) and a Certified Management and Business Educator (CMBE).

Research and scholarship

I am interested in research that examines the determinants and consequences of corporate narrative financial reporting, particularly textual analysis of corporate non-GAAP disclosures using natural language processing (NLP) and corpus linguistics methods.
