Keele ranked No.1 in the world for Pharmacy and Physiotherapy in 2026 Planetary Health Report Card
Keele University has been ranked as the top-performing university globally in both the Pharmacy and Physiotherapy categories in the 2026 Planetary Health Report Card.
Pharmacy and Physiotherapy at Keele both secured top rankings in their respective categories in the student-led initiative, which highlights how planetary health and environmental sustainability are being integrated into curriculum, research and policies within healthcare education.
This year's annual report is the biggest yet, with 1190 students at 212 schools in 23 countries taking part across medicine, pharmacy, nursing, occupational therapy, physiotherapy, dentistry, veterinary medicine, audiology, healthcare management, and nutrition and dietetics.
The report also praised Keele's School of Medicine, and School of Nursing and Midwifery, with Medicine ranked 3rd in the UK, and Nursing at Keele ranked 4th globally in this year’s Report Card.
Professor Christian Mallen, Executive Dean for the Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences at Keele, said: “These results reflect our ongoing commitment as a faculty to planetary health and sustainability which are among the greatest issues facing health and social care globally.
“The Planetary Health Report Card is a student led initiative and I would like to thank all our students and staff who supported this project which reinforces Keele’s position as world leaders in this area. “
