Keele Business School and Smart Innovation Hub

This flagship building, standing at the entrance to the University, houses both Keele Business School and start-up/early stage businesses in a sector leading Smart Innovation Hub.

There are currently 16 tenants and nine co-working tenants based in the building, and its unique open layout and co-location of teaching and business space allows talented students, academics and businesses the unique chance to build networks and collaborate to support the creation and growth of new businesses in Staffordshire.

The building houses Keele’s accounting, business management, economics, finance, human resource management, international business and marketing students. Facilities include a 208-seat lecture theatre, a ‘think lab’ study space, data laboratory, cafe and a business lounge. The school also has a Bloomberg Financial Market Trading Suite which utilises the Bloomberg platform used by leading global investment banks across the world, providing a high-quality teaching and research resource for students, staff and researchers.

 

Funding

The Keele Science and Innovation Park Smart Innovation Hub (Ref no: 32R17P01691) / Innovation Center 6, located within the Denise Coates Foundation Building, has been part-funded by the European Regional Development Fund as part of the England Growth Programme 2014-2020, the Midlands Engine and Staffordshire County Council with support from the Stoke-on-Trent and Staffordshire Local Enterprise Partnership.
