Race Equality Charter
Advance HE’s Race Equality Charter provides a framework to help institutions identify and address the barriers facing Black, Asian and minority ethnic staff and students in Higher Education.
Keele University made a commitment to work towards the Race Equality Charter Bronze Award in early 2017, received a Bronze Award in 2019 and successfully applied for a Silver award in July 2024. Keele was the fourth University to receive this level of award.
The Race Equality Charter covers academic staff, professional services staff, student progression and attainment and diversity of the curriculum.
